Kristin Handler teaches a wide range of courses on 20th- and 21st-century U.S. film, television and popular culture.  Recent courses include “Made to Kill: Female Violence in Popular Film,” “What is Creativity? Documentary Visions,” “Sexbots and Terminators: Cinematic Fantasies of the Intelligent Machine,” and “Viewing Mad Men.”  She also regularly teaches the Introduction to Film.  Areas of interest include genre films, melodrama, serial television, and psychoanalytic, queer and feminist film theory.
